And, in my wildest dreams, I never imagined I'd get the opportunity to open a jewellery shop and workspace, let alone in one of the most lovely areas of the country. But here I am and here it is: The Studio at Wirksworth.

I have been crafting silver jewellery since a good friend of mine gifted me a day's workshop several years ago. Since then I have completed many more courses, bought many more tools and made lots, and lots of silver jewellery! In September 2023 I made the big decision to leave my day job in education and work as a silversmith full-time. But I knew that ultimately I would like to pass on this joy of making that I have found, to others. Once a teacher, always a teacher...
