This was the first piece of jewellery I learned to make! Wrap rings are a really good place to start when you've not done any silversmithing before. And the design is such a practical one, given that they are gently adjustable to fit different fingers depending on your outfit or how cold you are! These rings are definitely my best seller when I'm selling at craft fairs.
All tools, equipment and materials for the class are provided. Included in the workshop is enough silver to make a deep wrap ring.
What you will make:
You will make a wrap ring which you can texture according to your own design.
What you will learn:
You will learn how to pierce (or cut) the silver to the correct size and shape for the ring. You will be able to try different texturing techniques before applying a texture to the ring. You will shape, finish and polish the ring - and go home wearing it!
