Lace-textured silver pendant - half day workshop

In this workshop, I will lead you through the steps to create a silver pendant which has been textured using lace.  Lace-textured pieces form the staple of my main collection - and you'll be able to see my pieces when you visit The Studio. I love that I can never really know what a piece will turn out like when I use a different piece of lace.  Come and try yourself, it's such a lovely process!

All tools, equipment and materials for the class are provided.  Included in the course is a silver chain and enough sterling silver to a make a pendant.

What you will make:

You will make a silver pendant – choosing your own shape – which is textured with lace.

What you will learn:

You will learn how to use lace to create a surface pattern on the silver using a rolling mill. You will learn to pierce your chosen shape out of the textured silver and attach a jump ring to hold the chain. You will finish and polish the piece.
